Los Angeles is under attack.
Our communities are being dismantled. Our people are living in fear. ICE is terrorizing our neighborhoods, separating families, and operating with impunity under an increasingly authoritarian state. This is not protection. This is state-sponsored violence. The systems meant to uphold “order” are instead enforcing silence, displacement, and fear.

In response, we invite you to a night of art, poetry, and music. This is a gathering rooted in resistance, healing, and community. In the broader terrain of rhetorical and social reflection, the daily practice of safe spaces becomes a radical, and subversive act of love, an expression that resonates in the face of systemic injustices and personal grief. Community is not merely a collection of individuals, but rather a network of relationships that can produce resilience, connection, and healing in times of crisis.

“Why is this important?”
I urge you to ask yourself, “What makes you feel safe? Welcomed, Seen?” This is a space of celebration. A space for resistance, reflection, and resilience.
This is Mi Todo.

Los Angeles is not Apolitical.
Art is not apolitical.

Art is our weapon. Community is our shield.

Art is our everything. Community is our everything.
